Unlock Your Leadership Potential: Community Leadership Classes for Graduate Students

Are you a University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) student looking to enhance your leadership skills and make a lasting impact in your community? Are you UMB staff or faculty interested in a resource to deepen your impact in your community?

Join our Community Leadership Program. This is a unique collaboration between UMB and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).

Join us for a weekly in-person program from Jan. 29-Feb. 26 that is designed for individuals who are committed to community engagement, leadership, and social change. The upcoming topic is Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). By attending you will receive:

  • Hands-on leadership training through real-world applications.
  • Five weekly 2.5-hour sessions with engaging discussions and collaborative projects.
  • A strong network of like-minded individuals across both universities and West Baltimore community leaders.
  • Tuition remission available for UMB and UMBC staff/faculty members.

Classes meet weekly at the Lions Brother building located adjacent to UMB’s Community Engagement Center! This location provides the perfect environment for all UMB communities to develop skills, build relationships, and foster positive change.
