Ashley Davis scholarship winner

Ashley Davis, APRN, CARN-AP, AAHIVS, FNP-c, a student in UMSON's DNP Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specialty, received UMB's annually awarded James T. Hill Scholarship, April 15 at the 2024 Employee Recognition and Service Awards Luncheon at Westminster Hall.

The $2,000 scholarship was established to support the University's commitment to staff development in recognition of James T. Hill's long and outstanding service to the University, as well as his personal commitment to the professional development of UMB employees.

Davis, a family nurse practitioner who works for the University of Maryland Institute for Human Virology within the Research Initiative on Infectious Disease and Substance Use, is scheduled to graduate from UMSON in May 2025.
