Black Birthing person giving birth supported by caregiver

The National Black Maternal Health Task Force of the National Black Nurses Association Inc. (NBNA) cordially extends a special invitation to its Inaugural National Black Maternal Health Virtual Conference 2024.

This virtual conference will be held on Feb. 23 - 24 and is open to the public.

Nursing faculty and students are encouraged to attend. They are  future nurses and advanced practice nurse leaders, and we want them to be prepared with the knowledge and awareness of systemic issues in maternal health so that they can be change agents working toward health equity and improved patient outcomes.

The task force is offering a special discounted rate for undergraduate and graduate nursing students. Students who are not current NBNA members can select "General Admission Ticket" and enter the discount code whovaNursingStudent.

NBNA's Black Maternal Health Task Force strives to address the health inequities and health disparities that cause significant morbidities and worsening maternal mortality rates amongst Black women in the United States.
