The Office of Field Education is pleased to announce the transition to a new student platform called Sonia starting with the 2025 – 2026 applications. The Electronic Field Notebook platform will be retired at the end of this school year.
The Advanced 2025-2026 Field Application is now available for students to complete in Sonia. Current full-time Foundation students should have received an email with the link to log in to Sonia and complete their application. The deadline to submit the Advanced application is January 17 for current students.
The Foundation 2025-2026 Field Application will become available on Tuesday, January 21. Part-time students who are enrolling in the Foundation practicum for the fall 2025, will receive an email on January 21 from the Office of Field Education with the link to log in to Sonia and complete their application. The deadline for these students to submit their Foundation application is March 1.
Moving forward, new students who enroll for the fall practicum will have until June 1 to submit their application. The submission deadlines are staggered to allow our faculty coordinators sufficient time to place students with a suitable agency partner.
