This October, join the UMB Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) for Fire Safety Month!
Throughout the month, UMB OFM will promote fire safety tips, trainings, resources, giveaways, free food, and much more! This year, the National Fire Protection Association’s theme — “Smoke alarms: Make them work for you!” — promotes the vital role smoke alarms play.
Here’s how you can participate:

- Check out digital displays across campus for weekly fire safety tips.
- Sign up and attend fire extinguisher training.
