ICTR CEnR Pilot Grant Program: Request for Applications
October 11, 2024The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) is pleased to announce the UMB ICTR Community Engaged Research (CEnR) Pilot Grant competition to provide starter funds for projects specifically focused on innovative Community-Engaged Research (CEnR) to test novel approaches to addressing health problems through community-engaged implementation that involve faculty from the UMB Schools of Dentistry, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Social Work, or the School of Graduate Studies; University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC); University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP); and UMB-community partnerships. Funding is provided through the UMB ICTR internal funding mechanism.
Eligibility: Faculty at the level of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor from UMB, UMBC, or UMCP. UMBC and UMCP applications must include a UMB co-principal investigator. Research associates, instructors, adjunct or visiting faculty are not eligible to apply.

Budget: Up to $50,000 in direct costs (indirect costs not permitted)
Deadline: 5 p.m. Nov. 8, 2024
Grant period: May 1, 2025-April 30, 2026
