On Feb. 27, 2024, UMB hosted the Inaugural Spring Service Fair open to UMB students, staff, and faculty at the SMC Campus Center. The Spring Service Fair invited local community-based organizations and internal and external community partners to showcase community service and volunteering opportunities to the UMB community.
Vendors included P-Tech Program and Dunbar High School, A Bridge for Academic Excellence, Thread, St. Luke's Youth Center, Everyman Theatre, and Harlem Park's Community Garden. Opportunities included Health/Human Service Mentoring for local high school students, weekend tutoring, UMB Campus Clean-Up, gardening initiatives, and much more!
