The Behavioral Health Workforce Integration Service and Education Fellowship Team is organizing a University of Maryland School of Social Work (UMSSW) team to participate in NAMIWalks Maryland on June 1 at Hunt Valley Towne Center. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization providing advocacy, education, support, and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.

UMSSW is a Silver Sponsor for NAMIWalks Maryland!

Social work is the single largest profession providing behavioral health services nationally, so it makes sense for us to partner with and support the Maryland Chapter of NAMI to raise awareness and funds to support NAMI’s vision and mission.

How can you participate?

There is no cost to register!  When you register as a Team Member, you will create a personal page so you can fund raise on behalf of the UMSSW team for NAMI.
