Make a Difference This Halloween: Volunteer and Donate Candy!

The University of Maryland School of Social Work (UMSSW), The Center of Restorative Change, and Family Connections Baltimore are excited to invite volunteers and request candy donations for the upcoming Trick or Treat with UMB, hosted by the Community Engagement Center at 16 S. Poppleton Street. This festive occasion will occur on Friday, November 1, from 4:30 - 6:00 PM. As part of this community celebration, UMSSW will host two of the 20 stations, offering delicious treats, engaging crafts, games, and more for families and children in the area.

 

How You Can Help:

  • Candy Donations: We kindly ask for contributions of candy or treats to ensure every child has a delightful experience. *Collection box located in SSW Lobby, near security desk.

 

  • Volunteer: We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help at our tables (set-up/breakdown, candy distribution, games).

 

Sign-up here to volunteer for one of the following shifts (or the entire event):

§  3:30 – 4:30 PM    Setup/Decorations

§  4:30 – 5:30 PM   Candy Distribution/Activities

§  5:30 – 6:00 PM    Breakdown
