Oct. 11: ‘Maximizing Health Care Teams and Improving Access in Underserved Areas’
August 28, 2024Join us in celebrating National PA Week in Maryland, a time to recognize the significant contributions of physician assistants (PAs) in enhancing health care teams and expanding access to care, especially in underserved areas.
This year, the PA Learning and Leadership Academy (PALLA) is proud to host a special event at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024. We are honored to welcome keynote speakers Sen. Mary Beth Carozza and Del. Kenneth Kerr, who will share their insights on the PA Modernization Act of 2024 and the critical role of PAs within their communities. To close the event, the Maryland Academy of PAs (MdAPA) will hold its esteemed annual award ceremony, celebrating the achievements and dedication of PAs across the state.
Don't miss this opportunity to connect with professional colleagues, students, and policymakers as we acknowledge and celebrate the impact of PAs across Maryland.
The event will be held from noon-2:30 p.m. in the SMC Multipurpose Room 349, 621 W. Lombard St., Baltimore.
