School of Social Work Town Hall

Join us for an insightful town hall on May 2 at 11 a.m. in the University of Maryland School of Social Work (UMSSW) Auditorium to discuss the development of the new, sustainable UMSSW building at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB). This event will be held in person and virtually.

UMB is excited to share updates on the creation of this building, located on the north end of campus. During the town hall, you’ll have the opportunity to hear directly from project representatives on how past feedback has shaped the design of the building, ensuring that it meets the needs and desires of our community.

Additionally, remarks will be made by UMSSW Dean Judy L. Postmus, PhD, ACSW, and UMB President Bruce E. Jarrell, MD, FACS, highlighting the significance of this project for the University and beyond.

We encourage both internal and external members of the UMB community to join us for this informative session. Come and learn about the innovative strategies and community-driven approaches that are guiding the development of our new, sustainable building.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to engage with the project team, ask questions, and learn more about this exciting building.

Register for the town hall.
