UMSON's Office of Research and Scholarship is proud to host Angela Peiser, MS, CPIA, Office of Animal Welfare Assurance director, and Graham Aberdeen, PhD, chair of the UMB Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), for the Monthly Research Seminar. They will provide an overview of what the IACUC is, what research requires IACUC involvement, why the IACUC exists, who the IACUC applies to and when to be involved, how to navigate the IACUC review process, and tips.
