The University of Maryland, Baltimore’s (UMB) Office of Sustainability has published UMB’s Greenhouse Gas Inventory for the 2022 fiscal year. View the report here.

Some highlights from the report include:
- UMB began purchasing Green-e RECs in calendar year 2022 to account for all electricity usage, reducing Scope 2 emissions
- This is the first full fiscal year in which RECs were used to cover all of UMB’s electricity usage
- New Concur Travel System collecting reimbursement data
- Had to estimate some travel data because the transition was during the fiscal year
