Climate Change, Health, and Society

Climate change is here.

This course will examine causes and impacts of climate change, with an emphasis on human health, society, and health equity, particularly in Baltimore and across Maryland. Solution-driven analyses will focus on state and national environmental policies and laws.

Students will work within interprofessional teams to explore innovative ideas to address these challenges. CIPP650 students may participate in the Provost Climate Health & Resilience summer internship, culminating in a presentation in the Climate Change Symposium in fall 2025.
