Come and hear Paul Shapiro, PhD, talk Oct. 24 about the review process, ways you can get experience as a reviewer, and how journals can encourage researchers to be rigorous and produce reproducible results. Pizza will be served from 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
Target Audience: Grad students, postdoc, and junior faculty members
Speaker: Paul Shapiro, PhD, professor and associate dean of research, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, and associate editor of the Journal of Biological Chemistry
Location: Health Sciences Research Facility II (HSRFII) auditorium. DIrections to the auditorium:
- Enter the HSRFII Building at 20 N. Penn St.
- Turn right at the security guard's desk and walk up the ramp.
- Pizza will be served at the top of the ramp outside the door of the auditorium
