The School of Pharmacy is pleased to host the Society of Cannabis Clinicians Second Annual Medical Cannabis Conference titled “A Consortium of Medical Cannabis Visionaries” on Oct. 12, 2024. The Society of Cannabis Clinicians is a nonprofit educational and scientific society of physicians and health care professionals dedicated to the education and research support of cannabis for medical use. Several School of Pharmacy faculty and MS in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics alumni feature prominently in the agenda:

  • Leah Sera, PharmD, co-director, Graduate Studies in Medical Cannabis program and associate professor of practice, sciences, and health outcomes research
  • Andrew Coop, PhD, associate dean for graduate programs and professor of pharmaceutical sciences
  • Laura Barrett, RN, adjunct faculty, Graduate Studies in Medical Cannabis program
  • Codi Peterson, PharmD, MS ’22
