Gov. Wes Moore has chosen three faculty members at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy for their expertise to serve on statewide advisory councils.
- Leah Sera, PharmD, MA, BCPS, associate professor in the Department of Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research (P-SHOR) and co-director of the Graduate Studies in Medical Cannabis program, will serve on the Cannabis Public Health Advisory Council.
- Chad Johnson, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and co-director of the Graduate Studies in Medical Cannabis program, will serve on the Advisory Board on Medical and Adult-use Cannabis.
- Zafar Zafari, PhD, MSc, assistant professor of P-SHOR, will serve on the Maryland Aviation Commission.
