What patient population do you serve? All patients 12 months and older.

What are your patient outcomes? Providing a superior patient experience ensures patients receive high-quality health care that is convenient and cost effective.

Are you currently working on any special projects or are you affiliated with any professional organizations? University of Maryland Urgent Care is accredited by the Urgent Care Association.

Are you currently hiring? We are always looking for strong clinicians to join our team.  While we do not always have full-time positions available, we also offer part-time, PRN, and a traveler position.

Why do you precept UMSON students? UM Urgent Care has hosted UMSON students for nearly 4,000 hours of clinical rotations!  We have had students just beginning their clinical experience as well as those near the end of their schooling who are looking to sharpen their clinical skills. Our partnership with UMSON has been a great experience for the students and the preceptors. We would love to see some familiar faces in our centers as part of our team!

What are you providing UMSON that’s unique? Every day is a new day and every day is a unique day. With UM Urgent Care, our scope of practice crosses nearly all subspecialties, and the age of patients extends across the spectrum. Our hours of operation are flexible and do not include nights.
