The HERstory Gala premiered in December 2018, evolving into a cherished winter tradition for two consecutive years before transitioning to a virtual event in 2020. Post-pandemic, the HERstory Gala became a springtime celebration for its fourth annual event in April 2022. Gaining in popularity throughout the years, Women in Bio — Capital Region has witnessed an increase in attendance from approximately 100 guests in 2018 to a remarkable 140 attendees in 2023. In anticipation of another stellar turnout, this year's HERstory Gala is hosted in a spacious new venue that can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests.
