As part of the University of Maryland, Baltimore’s (UMB) Founders Week tradition, you are invited to help recognize the individuals whose work reflects UMB’s mission to improve the human condition and serve the public good of Maryland and society at-large through education, research, clinical care, and service.
The nominations deadline has been extended to Monday, June 30, 2025, for the following Founders Week awards. (Click on the link to see award criteria for each and how to submit a nomination.)

- Public Servant of the Year
- Educator of the Year
- Student of the Year
These prestigious awards will be presented at the 2025 Founders Week Awards Recognition and Reception on Oct. 23 at the M&T Bank Exchange at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center.
