Applications for the Child Welfare Fellowship 2026-2027 cohort are NOW OPEN: Foundation and Advanced students are encouraged to explore this paid practicum opportunity available, particularly if you are interested in a future career working with families and children. Child Welfare Fellows are assigned a practicum placement at a Local Department of Social Services providing experiential learning in addition to specialized training, seminars, and coursework while pursuing their MSW degree. Child Welfare Fellows are also guaranteed employment after graduation with competitive salaries, excellent benefits packages, and paid leave time.
