UMSON faculty, take advantage of this funding opportunity!
UMSON is offering up to 10 awards of $10,000 each to support faculty in complete small innovative pilot grants to be used to build future fundable studies. These innovative ideas can focus on:
- research in general
- educational research
- community-based research or evaluation projects
The proposed projects:
- must focus on innovative interventions or exploratory research
- must be feasible to accomplish within 24 months
- must include at least two nursing faculty (a principal investigator and co-investigator or a multiple principal investigator approach); we particularly encourage senior investigators or investigators with research experience to reach out to and include new or junior faculty interested in engaging in research but who may not have served as a principal investigator or co-investigator formally on a study.
