March 27: Benefits of Serving as an NIH Reviewer

This 30-minute session will introduce attendees to the role of a National Institutes of Health (NIH) reviewer and how to identify review opportunities, including the NIH Early Career Reviewer (ECR) Program. It will also cover the workload and time commitment required for this role. Additionally, attendees will learn about the many benefits of serving as an NIH reviewer, such as improving grantsmanship and writing skills, understanding the review process, staying current on research trends in their field, and expanding their professional network.
