Doors open at 8:15 a.m. and the ceremony starts at 8:45 a.m.
Master's and Doctoral Ceremony
Doors open at 1:15 p.m. and the ceremony starts at 1:45 p.m.
Regalia
All graduates must wear regalia.
- Order regalia through Oak Hill
- Order announcements, nursing pins, rings, and frames through Herff Jones

Photo Montage
Please submit any photos you would like to have included in a celebratory photo montage that will be shared during UMSON's Convocation ceremony and made available on YouTube.
Photos must by submitted by Friday, April 18, at 5 p.m. Submit them via email to nrsregistration@umaryland.edu.
Students are invited to view submitted images prior to their inclusion in the montage on Monday, April 28. More information about how to review the images will be forthcoming.
Photo Montage Guidelines
- First, name your files correctly; they must be labeled with this convention: last name_first initial_number, e.g. smith_j_1
- Each student may submit a maximum of five (5) files, so choose your photos carefully!
- Submitted photos must be JPGs; other file types will not be accepted.
- Files are permitted to be a maximum of 5MB.
- Only actual image files will be accepted, not screen captures from phones.
- Photos may not contain any alcohol visible in bottles, glasses, etc.
- No images of patients.
- No images that show stethoscopes around necks (when not in use).

Graduation Packet Pickup
Packets include (as applicable):
- your name card for the ceremony
- event tickets
- alumni gift
- honor cords (if applicable).
Packets are only available prior to the event and will not be available at the ceremony. Packets are mailed only to out-of-state students. Packets not picked up will be mailed to the address on record after the ceremony.
The number of guest tickets available will be based on the number of graduates who RSVP.
Sigma or any other cords must be ordered through the appropriate organization and are not provided by UMSON.
