Grant Opportunity: Tools for Post-Market Monitoring of AI-Enabled Devices

The UMB Institute for Clinical and Translational Research is sharing an announcement from one of our Core leaders, James Polli, PhD, about a CERSI research grant opportunity from the Food and Drug Administration CDRH Digital Health Center of Excellence (https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/digital-health-center-excellence). A proposal is due July 14, 2025, by 9 a.m. for Tools for Post-Market Monitoring of AI-Enabled Devices.
The FDA plans to fund four proposals, across all CERSIs. University of Maryland (M-CERSI) is allowed to submit up to five proposals. To be considered, please send completed proposal to Bill Bentley (bentley@umd.edu) and James Polli (jpolli@rx.umaryland.edu) by 9 a.m. July 14, 2025. Also, preferably, please let them know by July 8 of your intent to submit a proposal, including principal investigator contact information and proposal title.
