Please join the Law and Histories of Empire Series from 12-1:30 p.m. April 8 for the panel  “Interrogating the International Court of Justice and Palestine.” The panel will feature an expert analysis of the International Court of Justice's 2024 Advisory Opinion on the "Legal Consequences Arising from the Policies and Practices of Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory." Panelists will situate the decision within the history of international law’s fraught relationship with the question of Palestine, reflect on the possibilities opened (and foreclosed) by the decision, and grapple with international law’s interplay with colonialism more broadly.
