On Oct. 1, the U.S. federal government shut down due to a lapse in funding. Although a federal shutdown of any length can bring delays or disruptions in some areas, UMB remains fully operational and our day-to-day work will continue. To support you, we have created a website with answers to frequently asked questions on federally funded projects, financial aid, immigration services, and more. This website will be updated for the duration of the shutdown as more information becomes available.
The Navigating Federal Orders and Guidance webpage is the UMB Issues Management Advisory Group (IMAG) hub for information regarding evolving policy, the status of executive branch orders, UMB leadership communications, and external resources that may provide a benefit to the University community.
