All UMB Foundation (UMBF) contracts will now require vendors/venues to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming UMBF, Inc. and affiliates as additional insureds. Please click here for exact wording to share with vendors.
Key points for event planning:
- Address COI requirements at the start of planning.
- If a vendor cannot provide a compliant COI, UMBF cannot sign the contract.
- Events involving alcohol require additional review for liquor license and liability coverage.
- Submit contracts/COIs early; review may take up to 14 business days.
