Nov. 17: The Table We Share: Restoring Balance Through Food Security
October 24, 2025
Nov. 16 - 22 is National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. This week is designed to educate the public and draw attention to the problem of poverty.
The University of Maryland, Baltimore's (UMB) Student Success Center invites you to join us for a restorative community circle addressing food insecurity among college students.
Restorative community circles are an opportunity to address interpersonal conflict, social concerns, and political unrest by providing support as we process current and historic harms and seek to build an inclusive School community. In this circle, we will discuss the crisis of food insecurity among college students and collaborate on how we can support our UMB community affected by the systemic issue.
This event is open to all students, staff, and faculty at UMB.
Date: Monday, Nov. 17
Time: noon - 1:30 p.m.
Location: Student Success Lounge (Third Floor, Southern Management Corporation Campus Center)
