As a reminder, contributions for both the Optional Retirement Plan (ORP) and Maryland State Teachers' Pension System occur 20 times, for all participants, during the academic year. Contributions will stop June 20 and resume in the fall. This does not impact those enrolled in the Employees Pension or the Law Enforcement Officers Pension System (LEOPS).
