The University of Maryland School of Medicine's Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science is conducting a study to develop early screening techniques for Alzheimer's disease and cognitive impairment using an eye-tracking system and an arm robot. We are looking for individuals 55 to 80 years old. We will capture and analyze participants' eye movements and sensorimotor reactions during several combined cognitive and sensorimotor tasks.

The project requires one visit to the Allied Health Building, 100 Penn St., and the experiment will take about 1.5 hours. For more information and to see if you or your family are eligible to participate in this study, contact Raziyeh Baghi at 410-706-5717 or rbaghi@som.umaryland.edu.
