The Quantum Human Capital Management (QHCM) project team is pleased to provide an important update on the QHCM project. The new go-live date for the QHCM project is set for Oct. 27, 2025. This extension will ensure that the system is fully optimized by:
- Offering the UMB community more opportunities to become acquainted with the upcoming changes, helping users adapt to changes, and providing departments more time to plan for them.
- Enhancing reporting and analytics capabilities — i.e., creating and testing comprehensive reports, gaining valuable insights, and having more time for user engagement and enhancing the quality of reports.
- Finalizing a custom solution for labor distribution to be used when entering complex labor schedules.
- Building in the changes needed as a result of the AFSCME contract agreement.
- Providing more time for preparing and delivering training.
- Adding additional test cycles to ensure seamless integration of the new system with our payroll processes.
We are committed to maintaining transparency and will keep you informed of the project's progress and other engagement activities throughout the remaining time of system implementation.
