As a reminder, vendors/venues must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming the University of Maryland Baltimore Foundation, Inc. (UMBF) and affiliates as additional insureds. Visit the UMBF website for processing timeline, guidelines, and a sample COI for you to share with vendors in the early stages of planning.
All individuals handling contracts, events, or other work that requires payment from the foundation must familiarize themselves with the foundation's vendor policies and disbursement requirements prior to the start of any work or event planning. Adequate time must be allotted for contract review, as some may need to be reviewed by the foundation's insurance provider.
