Substance Use Disorder Workforce Expansion (SUDWE)

The University of Maryland School of Social Work has an exciting opportunity for MSW students entering their advanced year. If you are interested in training and practice in behavioral health, especially evidence-based practice for individuals impacted by substance use disorders, the Substance Use Disorder Workforce Expansion (SUDWE) is an opportunity you do not want to miss!

SUDWE is a one-year fellowship for students entering their advanced year field placement in fall 2025. SUDWE fellows will receive specialized training seminars, focused coursework, and an educational stipend ($15,000) while completing the final year of their MSW program.
