Graduates like Brian Gutierrez are a testament to the success of the PATIENTS Professors Academy (PPA). In this episode of "The Bridge" podcast, Gutierrez talks about how the PPA provided a solid foundation in patient-centered care, equipping him with the knowledge and tools to effectively serve and advocate for the spina bifida community. A 2022 graduate, Gutierrez has since used his advocacy work to empower others to find their voice in health care.

Check out the PATIENTS Professors Academy virtual open house on Wednesday, March 5, at 4 p.m. EST to learn more about the PPA from Gutierrez and other graduates of the program. The event is free but please register: https://umaryland.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1BxyWxJMhXZ3FxY
