Prompt Gamma Imaging for Verification of Dose in Patient: Prompt gamma imaging in proton therapy is a real-time monitoring technique that detects gamma rays emitted as protons interact with tissues. It verifies the proton beam’s range and dose delivery, ensuring precise targeting of tumors while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissue, improving treatment accuracy and patient outcomes.
