As UMSON continues its transition to full implementation of the American Association of Colleges of Nurses' (AACN) Essentials and competency-based education (CBE), the Essential Experiential Education: A Passport to Practice (E3 to P2) task force leads Susan Bindon, DNP, RN, NPD-BC, CNE, FAAN, ANEF, and Dawn Mueller-Burke PhD, CRNP, NNP-BC, want to ensure faculty members are aware of UMSON's monthly E3 to P2 meetings.
All are welcome to join either in person or via Zoom. Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month in Room 304, or on Zoom, from 1-2 p.m. for the general open meeting, followed by subgroup work from 2-3 p.m.
At the April 6 meeting, Bindon and Mueller-Burke will share key national updates on AACN Progression Indicators, provide an update from CCNE, and review their approach to tagging and tracking competencies and standards within Exxat PRISM. They will also highlight the "attributes list" of the BSN program as the first to transition into PRISM and outline next steps for implementation across remaining SON programs.
