Shijun Zhu, PhD, DrE, professor, will provide an overview of Complier Average Cause Effect (CACE) modeling and use a current study to highlight this method as an alternative to traditional approaches such as intention-to-treat and per-protocol analyses. He will also discuss how to implement CACE within a Structural Equation Modeling framework to estimate causal effects when not all participants adhere to the assigned intervention.
