On Friday, May 14, during the School of Social Work Awards ceremony, Bethany Lee, PhD, MSW, was recognized as the 2026 Donna Harrington Exemplary Faculty Mentor. Lee's students, PhD alum Lauren Pryce McCarthy, PhD, MSW (Bryn Mawr College), and current PhD student Simpson Kamugisha, presented the award. PhD alum Mary Hodorowicz, PhD, MSW, presented Lee with a handmade quilt, made by Donna Harrington's closest friend, Becky. Harrington was known for presenting the PhD students she mentored with a personal handmade quilt upon their graduation.
