Are you interested in becoming a professional mediator? This May, the Center for Dispute Resolution at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law presents online Basic 40-Hour Mediation Training. This online training combines in-class exercises, engaging lectures, and simulations with additional out-of-class activities. Participants will engage in multiple role-plays and receive individual feedback from experienced mediators.
The training emphasizes the facilitative mediation framework and is appropriate for individuals from all professional backgrounds.
- Work with nationally recognized trainers.
- Learn mediation skills, ethics, tested techniques, and best practices.
- Satisfy the Maryland Judiciary requirements for court-designated mediators.
Dates: We will meet May 18, 19, 20, 28, and 29 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. each day.
