March 25: Center for Disability Justice Introduction to Qualitative Research Methods

This course, sponsored by the University of Maryland School of Medicine Center for Disability Justice (CDJ), will support researchers interested in incorporating qualitative approaches into K or R series grant applications and other extramural funding proposals.
It will include an overview of:
- qualitative research methods
- sampling strategies
- data collection
- data analysis
- reporting findings
- an introduction to integrating qualitative and quantitative approaches through mixed methods
The course at 10 a.m. March 25 will be conducted virtually and co-taught by Jasmine K. Cooper, PhD, MA, the CDJ community engagement core lead, and Gretchen Tucker, PhD, MA, a CDJ-affiliated postdoctoral fellow. Register to attend the course.
