This course, sponsored by the University of Maryland School of Medicine Center for Disability Justice (CDJ), will support researchers interested in incorporating qualitative approaches into K or R series grant applications and other extramural funding proposals.

It will include an overview of:

  • qualitative research methods
  • sampling strategies
  • data collection
  • data analysis
  • reporting findings
  • an introduction to integrating qualitative and quantitative approaches through mixed methods

The course at 10 a.m. March 25 will be conducted virtually and co-taught by Jasmine K. Cooper, PhD, MA, the CDJ community engagement core lead, and Gretchen Tucker, PhD, MA, a CDJ-affiliated postdoctoral fellow. Register to attend the course.
