The UMB Center to Advance Chronic Pain Research (CACPR) will host a poster session as part of this year’s CACPR Symposium, “Novel Alternative Methods of Studying and Treating Pain,” on Thursday, Oct. 22, at the SMC Campus Center.

Graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty are invited to submit abstracts. In addition to basic, translational, and clinical pain research, CACPR welcomes work featuring novel technologies, experimental approaches, or model systems with potential relevance to the study or treatment of pain. Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows will be eligible for poster awards, with gift cards presented to the top posters in each category.

Submission details: Please submit the presenter's name, abstract title, and name of the PI (as applicable) to claritza.novas@umaryland.edu by Oct. 15.

CACPR will also be recruiting faculty volunteers to serve as poster judges, with more information to come.
