Two people holding hands

Balancing school while caring for others is real and often invisible. Whether you’re supporting children, parents, siblings, or your chosen family, caregiving takes time, energy, and intention. This session at noon April 27 creates space to talk about that experience honestly and without judgment.

Join us for a conversation that recognizes the realities of caregiving while offering practical ways to manage academic responsibilities, communicate your needs, and navigate campus systems. You will also connect with others who get it and explore how caregiving builds skills like leadership, resilience, and problem solving, assets that matter far beyond the classroom.

Come as you are. This is a space to reflect, share, and walk away with tools you can use.

If you need accommodations to fully participate in this event, please contact the Student Success Center at dl-ssle@umaryland.edu at least seven days in advance.
