Join us for Career Kick-Off on Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 4-6 p.m. in the SMC Campus Center, Elm A Ballroom, or online. This event is hosted in partnership with the University Student Government Association, Students for Non-Academic Careers, the Career Consortium, and the Office of Student Success, Leadership, and Engagement as part of Fall Kick-Off.
During the first hour, you'll participate in a workshop on developing your personal brand and elevator pitch, giving you practical tools to introduce yourself with confidence in person and on platforms like LinkedIn.
Then, stick around for a networking reception where you can meet students from across UMB's schools and programs while practicing your networking skills and building connections.
Join us in person or online! Either way, you'll be able to engage with the workshop and participate in networking. Food is provided for the in-person event.
