Join President Bruce E. Jarrell, MD, FACS, and the UMB community for the fifth annual Faculty Convocation on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. under the tent at Koester’s Lot, 650 W. Lexington St.
The annual Convocation marks the beginning of the academic year and celebrates faculty achievement and excellence. This year’s program will feature recognition of the 2026 Distinguished University Professors, UMB’s highest faculty appointment, engaging TED-like talks by two UMB faculty members, and remarks from President Jarrell.
