Center for Violence Prevention

The University of Maryland, Baltimore Center for Violence Prevention is hosting a listening session on behalf of the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (MONSE) as part of the public engagement process for Baltimore's second Comprehensive Violence Prevention Plan (CVPP). The CVPP will serve as the city's five-year roadmap for violence prevention from 2026 to 2031, building on the progress of the last five years and deepening Baltimore's commitment to a holistic, community- and trauma-centered approach to public safety.

Join us Tuesday, July 14, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Collaborative Learning Room (lower level) of the Health Sciences and Human Services Library, 601 W. Lombard St., to review the public draft and share your feedback directly with the team shaping the plan. Can't make it in person? Residents can read the draft plan and submit feedback through MONSE's public survey or by emailing monse@baltimorecity.gov.

RSVP for the session.
