Effective May 25, 2026, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has updated the Data Management and Sharing Policy (DMSP) to promote the sharing of scientific data. This new policy requires that researchers maximize the appropriate sharing of scientific data.
During this 30-minute seminar, participants will be introduced to the new NIH Pilot DMS Plan Format page and learn how to create a data management plan (DMP) using the DMPTool. The DMPTool is a free, open-source, online application that helps researchers create data management plans and provides data management best practices resources.
