Nikita Aggarwal

PhD Candidate Nikita Aggarwal will defend her dissertation on Wednesday, May 13th, at 12pm. The dissertation study, “TOSSED AROUND AND NEGLECTED”: A MIXED-METHODS STUDY OF MIGRATION, WORK, AND MENTAL HEALTH AMONG SOUTH ASIAN IMMIGRANT RESTAURANT WORKERS” explores how immigration and restaurant work conditions affect the mental health of South Asian immigrant workers and how they cope with these challenges.

Nikita’s dissertation committee is chaired by Dr. Nalini Negi and includes Dr. Bruce DeForge, Dr. Fernando Wagner, Dr. Lynn Michalopoulos, and Dr. Teofilo Reyes.
