Dr. Shawna Murray-Browne

The live launch event for recent PhD alum Dr. Shawna Murray-Browne's podcast Return to Presence, originally scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Enoch Pratt Free Library, has been postponed. A new date will be shared here as soon as it is confirmed.

In the meantime, the first episode of Return to Presence is now available on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts. The podcast grew directly out of Dr. Murray-Browne's dissertation research and centers the wisdom of Black women elders and their work to heal themselves and their communities.
