Feb. 12: Lunch Under the Pipes
January 21, 2026
Westminster Preservation Trust, Inc. is the proud sponsor of "Lunch Under the Pipes," a free lunchtime concert series featuring Westminster Hall's beautifully restored 1882 Johnson Pipe organ. The concert series is open to University of Maryland, Baltimore faculty, staff, and students and the surrounding community. Guests are encouraged to bring their lunch; seating is provided.
We're starting the season early, on Thursday, Feb. 12, when Lunch Under the Pipes welcomes harpist Jacqueline Pollauf, who is known for her sensitive performances, dedication to teaching, and beautifully crafted compositions. Past performances include a premiere for voice and harp at Carnegie Hall, as well as appearances at the Eleventh World Harp Congress and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Her recent recording, Beau Soir, with cellist Dariusz Skoraczewski, was lauded as “utter perfection” (The Harp Column).
Pollauf appears frequently as a recitalist in programs drawing on repertoire standards, little-known works, and her own transcriptions and arrangements. Her compositional works are available through Lyon and Healy Publications, Harp Column Music, and Oakway Studios.
She is the founder and director of the Baltimore Harp Camp and is on faculty at the Baltimore School for the Arts and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Performances and instructional videos can be found on her highly regarded YouTube channel. Pollauf holds degrees from the Peabody Conservatory.
